ero the Crown of Command as 2 wounds is not good enough.
Kroxigor:
In the games Ive played, the kroxigor looks so big and mean that
he ends up running into elite troops. His strength and toughness
I have nothing against, however, WS has a lot to be desired
(Banner Of Might could be used), 3 attacks are good however, 3
wounds sux a bit. Just because the unit has a kroxigor doesnt
mean it is any better. I put them there for the scare value more
than anything and if I really want them to fight, I get 2 in
(POW!). However, If your gonna use rank and file troops (Skinks)
its always a good idea (Plus, they cause FEAR).
Stegadons:Stegadons, with their D6 impact hits,
5 attacks at strength 7 and the Skink crew attack, need I say
more? (Except take a banner of might with one of them, they only
have a laughable WS 2).
Terradons:Use Terradons to pursue, or mount a
Skink hero on one with bone blade and Van Hortsmans and use him
to challenge something big like a vampire lord.
Saurus Warriors:Always (and I mean ALWAYS) give
Saurus Warriors spears! S4 attacks, plus 2nd ranks of attacks.
These guys are Witch Elves without the frenzy loss capability and
they have T4!! (Although Witch Elves's have a higher WS).
Skink Shamans:Always a good idea. Not for the crummy spells, but
this guy can take in the dispel magic scrolls (2 magic items!!).
Blade Of Cocacilia:Need I say more. A general with the potion of strength and frostblade is helpless. Good against power players.Slann Mage Lords:The Slann mage lords can take out anything and with the right combo of magic items/ weapons , he could easily take out things like dragons and touch and go with greater deamons. 8 attacks and 8 wounds. Always give this guy a healing potion. Give your Slann Mage the Crown of Command and as he is your general, keep the rest of the troops close to him and use his leadership. Do NOT give a hero the Crown of Command as 2 wounds is not good enough
