The Salamander

Salamanders and their highly toxic venom are prized by the
Lizardmen, mostly because these living war machines can spit for quite some distance. Now, being spat upon is bad enough, but if the spitter is the Salamander, then your goose is cooked, so to speak. The venom will seep through joints in armor, leaving even the most heavily armored Knight unprotected from this very disgusting attack. The only thing worse than being spit on by a Salamander, is trying to get one to spit at all! The Skink runners are responsible not only for getting the Salamander pointed in the right direction, but getting the ornery critter angry enough to spit! Sometimes the Skink
is just too slow in getting out of the way, and ends up as a tasty treat. This is a dangerous job, best left to professionals.
